IC 5215 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Toucan on southern sky . It is estimated to be 264 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 5208 , IC 5219 , IC 5221 , IC 5222 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on August 21, 1900 .
