IC 5207 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Toucan in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 303 million light years from the Milky Way and about 135,000 light years in diameter. The galaxies IC 5197 , IC 5205 , IC 5213 and IC 5218 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on July 16, 1904 .
