Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver
Rick Jaffa (born May 8, 1956 in Dallas County ) and his wife Amanda Silver (born May 24, 1963 ) are American screenwriters and film producers .
Life
Jaffa and Silver are best known as scriptwriters for the science fiction film dramas Planet of the Apes: Prevolution , Planet of the Apes: Revolution and Jurassic World . You were involved as a producer on the third film in the series, Planet of the Apes: Survival .
Silver appeared as a screenwriter for Die Hand an der Wiege in 1992 , and has worked with Jaffa since Eye for an Eye in 1996. The two have been married since 1989 and are parents of two children.
In 2012 and 2016 both were nominated for the Saturn Award in the “Best Screenplay” category, and at the 2017 presentation they received the Filmmaker's Showcase Award.
They also wrote parts of the script for the adventure film Mulan , which is scheduled for release in 2020.
