Ambrogio Ravasi

Ambrogio Ravasi IMC (born February 7, 1929 in Bellusco ) is former bishop of Marsabit .

Life

Ambrogio Ravasi joined the order of the Consolata Missionaries and was ordained a priest on February 9, 1957 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Marsabit on June 19, 1981 .

The Archbishop of Nairobi Maurice Michael Cardinal Otunga donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Caesar Gatimu , Bishop of Nyeri and Ferdinando Maggioni , auxiliary bishop in Milan .

On November 25, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
