Max Kögel

Max Kögel ( October 7, 1860 - January 25, 1925 ) was a German photographer in Heidelberg .

Life

Max Kögel worked as a photographer in the city of Heidelberg since 1889. He took over the “ Eduard Schultzestudio of the photographer Heinrich Boppel at the address Plöck 79 (name of the street until 1890 “Plöckstraße”). Kögel also ran a photo shop in Hauptstrasse 118, which was continued from 1925 to 1939 by his son Walter Kögel (* 1889; † 1939).

On September 10, 1889, Max Kögel received the title of "Royal Württemberg Court Photographer". In 1895 he was awarded the title of Court Photographer by the Grand Duke of Baden .

At the “General Photographical Exhibition”, organized by the “Association for the Care of Photography and Related Arts in Frankfurt / M.” From October 8 to 22, 1913, Max Kögel received a diploma for the Silver Medal in the group of professional photographers.
