The ambulance Mobile GmbH & Co. KG is a German coach builder of special-purpose vehicles based in Schoenebeck (Elbe) . The company, which was founded in 1991 on the site of the former tractor factory in Schönebeck (Elbe), is characterized by its production using a 6-stroke system in production lines. Every year, more than 1500 vehicles are expanded by Ambulanz Mobile GmbH & Co. KG and handed over to their customers from more than 35 countries. In addition to upgrading vehicles with GRP roofs and integrated blue light hoods and ABS interior parts, the company also develops its own assemblies, such as stretcher supports and headrests for wheelchair users, as well as extendable and foldable ramps for carrying chairs.

The “Wünschewagen” project of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund is supported by Ambulanz Mobile with the expansion of special ambulances. The company is also represented at the annual RETT Mobil with its own stand.

history

The first vehicle, a KMP (motor vehicle for the transport of people with reduced mobility, formerly BTW ), was completed in 1992. A year later, the first West German customer, Johanniter from Kiel, was won. For the first time, annual sales of EUR 1 million were achieved. The starting shot for the production of emergency medical vehicles (NEF) and ambulance vehicles (KTW) was given in 1995. In 2002, the “Elbe” production hall, which was planned from scratch, was built. At the RETT Mobil 2006 one of the most modern ambulances of its time was presented to the public: the first DELFIS celebrated its premiere. The “Salzland” production hall is completed in the following year. In addition, the Ambulanz Mobile GmbH wins the "big prize for medium-sized companies". The first ambulance with a box body in the design language of the Ambulanz Mobile, the TIGIS RTW, will be presented to the public in 2009. On June 21, 2011 the company celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Ambulanz Mobile GmbH is a premium partner of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and a van partner of Mercedes Benz and Ford . As a training company, the company offers 7 training paths and is a partner for a dual study program for business administration, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
