Amelie von Wulffen

Amelie von Wulffen (* 1966 in Breitenbrunn ) is a German artist ( collages , drawings and photographic overlays ). In her work she deals with biographical research.

Life

From 1987 to 1994 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (with Daniel Spoerri and Olaf Metzel ).

In 2000 she received the Villa Romana Prize, in 2002 the ars viva Prize and in 2016 the 3rd Ruth Baumgarte Art Prize . She was represented at the 50th  Venice Biennale and Manifesta  5.

Amelie von Wulffen lives in Berlin today. She is represented by Barbara Weiss Galerie in Berlin, Freedman Fitzpatrick in Los Angeles & Paris, Gio Marconi in Milano and Reena Spaulings in New York & Los Angeles.
