Ametsbichl is a hamlet in the municipality of Großkarolinenfeld (former municipality of Tattenhausen ) in the Rosenheim district in Upper Bavaria . There are three farms and one family house. The road to the village is a dead end that branches off from Ester on the Hilperting – Thann road. The farmers primarily operate dairy farming.

A small path for walking or cycling leads through the forest to the Filzenklas Waldgasthaus. A natural gas storage facility is located a little north of the village .
