In 2001 Amica took over the Danish competitor Gram Domestic , and in the following year the German Premiere Hausgerätetechnik GmbH.

With the four brands Amica , Gram , Hansa and Premiere , the company's sales are concentrated in Europe. The Premiere brand is aimed primarily at price-conscious buyers and is predominantly present on the German-speaking market.

In 2011, Amica had a market share of 15 percent in Poland, making it the market leader. The Amica brand contributed more than 60 percent to the total turnover of the Amica Group in 2011, followed by the Hansa brand with 24 percent and Gram with five percent.

Amica currently produces cookers, ovens and hobs in two of its own plants in Wronki, Poland, near Poznan. The refrigerator and washing machine product line was sold to the Korean Samsung group in December 2009 for 205 million  zloty (76 million US dollars) . Since then, refrigerators and washing machines under the Amica brand have been bought by other manufacturers from Turkey and China.
