Aminata Boureima Takoubakoyé

Aminata Takoubakoyé Takoubakoyé , née Aminata Takoubakoyé Soumana (born September 23, 1979 in Niamey , Niger ) is a Nigerien economist and politician. Between February 2010 and April 2011, Takoubakoyé headed the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies in the interim government of the military junta of the Supreme Council for the Restoration of Democracy .

Life

Youth and education

Takoubakoye Aminata Takoubakoyé was born on September 23, 1979 in the capital Niamey of Niger in West Africa. She attended the Zabarkan elementary school and then the Lycée Mariama , which she graduated with a Baccalauréat C with distinction. After completing school, she attended pre-university preparatory courses for the Grandes Écoles at the Lycée Ibnou Timia in Marrakech from 1998 to 2000 , where she was granted access to the Grandes Écoles d'Ingénieur (comparable to the French Diplôme universitaire d'études scientifiques ).

She then studied at the Institut national de statistique et d'économie appliqué (INSEA) in Rabat and graduated with the diploma diplôme d'ingénieur statisticien économiste with distinction in 2003.

Professional career

After her return to Niger, she accepted a position as an expert in the National Census Bureau ( Bureau Central du Recensement ) at the National Statistical Institute ( Institut National de la Statistique ) of Niger. From April 2004 to September 2009 she was an information and evaluation officer at the Permanent Secretariat of the Strategic Poverty Reduction Plan ( Secrétariat Permanent de la Stratégie de Réduction de la Pauvreté , SP / SRP). Subsequently, from September 2009 to March 2010, Takoubakoyé was coordinator at the National Poverty Observatory ( Observatoire National de la Pauvreté ).

In March 2010, the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerien Army, General Salou Djibo , appointed her to the transitional government and entrusted her with the department for communication, new information technologies and culture. She held the office until April 2011.

After a short time in government, she was appointed senior expert at the Millénium Challenge Account du Niger (MCA). On February 13, 2013, Takoubakoyé was nominated and appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary of the Executive Secretariat of the Economic and Social Development Plan.
