Aminatou Moumouni Adamou Seyni (born August 24, 1996 in Niamey ) is a Nigerian sprinter .

Athletic career

Aminatou Seyni gained her first experience at international championships in 2019 at the Africa Games in Rabat , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals in the 100-meter run with 11.93 s, while she finished fourth over 200 meters in 23.05 s. This year Seyni also started in several races in the Diamond League over 400 meters. At the Athletissima in Lausanne she set a new national record with 49.19 seconds behind the Bahraini Salwa Eid Naser and thus ran one of the 20 fastest times ever run (see also 400-meter run ). At the World Championships in Doha , Seyni was only allowed to start over 200 meters and was eliminated there with 22.77 s in the semifinals after setting a new national record with 22.58 s in the preliminary run. A start over 400 meters was prohibited by the World Federation (IAAF) on suspicion of too high testosterone levels.
