Amminadab

Amminadab ( Hebrew עַמִּינָדָב 'Amînāḏāv , German ' uncle is generous' ) is a biblical person. He is mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew , the Gospel of Luke , the Book of Ruth, and the Exodus .

He was the father of Nachshon , the colonel of Judah. His daughter Elisheba was the wife of Aaron . ( Ex 6.23  EU ) His father was Admin ( Lk 3.33  EU ), Aram ( Mt 1.4  EU ) and Ram ( Ruth 4.19  EU ).

He was an ancestor of Jesus and is therefore depicted in the lunettes of the Sistine Chapel .

He is portrayed by HB Warner in the film The Ten Commandments .
