The Ampfererberg is a mountain in the Victory Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the vicinity of Mount Burrill on the eastern edge of the Malta Plateau .

Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) made his name.
