Amphimachus (son of Electryon)
Amphimachus ( ancient Greek Ἀμφίμαχος ) is a person from Greek mythology .
He is the son of Elektryon , king of Mycenae , and Anaxo , daughter of king Alkaios of Tiryns . His sister is Alkmene , his brothers are Stratobates , Gorgophonos , Phylonomos , Kelaineus , Lysinomos , Cheirimachos , Anaktor and Archelaos , his half-brother from the union of Eletryon and Mideia is Likymnios .
He and his brothers perish in a fight with the sons of Pterelaus when they want to rob the cattle of Elekryon. Only Likymnios survived the attack.
