Amr Ezzat Salama

Amr Ezzat Salama ( Arabic عمرو عزت سلامة, DMG ʿAmr ʿIzzat Salāma ; * February 10, 1951 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian politician and former minister.

Life

Amr Ezzat Salama studied civil engineering at Cairo University until 1973 . He worked as a researcher at the Construction Research Institute until 1976. Until 1977 he studied at the University of Manchester Master of Science, and in 1979 at the University of Edinburgh as doctor of maritime civil engineering doctorate . From 1981 he researched and taught at Helwan University , where he became dean in 2002 . Amr Ezzat Salama was Research and Education Minister in the Nazif cabinet from July 12, 2004 to December 31, 2005 . He is married with a daughter and a son.
