Amr Mohamed Helmi Khaled ( Arabic عمرو محمد حلمي خالد Amr Muhammad Hilmi Chalid , DMG ʿAmr Muḥammad Ḥalmī Ḫālid ; * 5. September 1967 in Alexandria , Egypt ) is from Egypt originating and from the Saudi Jeddah sending Islamic televangelist the Arab world. His first TV show Kalam min al-Qalb (Words from the Heart) wasbroadcaston Iqra in 2001and caused a sensation among Muslims with its western-oriented demeanor and discourse. The former Muslim Brother is the founder of the Germany-wide Lifemakers network, founded in 2005who advises Muslims on dealing with authorities, financial needs, business plans or questions about setting up Islamic kindergartens.

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... ") (October 13, 2007).
