Office Langenhagen

The Amt Langenhagen was a historical administrative district in the Principality of Calenberg and the Kingdom of Hanover . It existed from 1636 to 1859.

history

After Lauenrode Castle was destroyed in 1371, the Vogt residing there took his seat in Langenhagen . The bailiwick came about in the 15th and 16th. Century in response to the United bailiff of wholesale Bailiwick Calenberg . Around 1636 the Bailiwick was detached from the Office of Calenberg and its own office was formed, which became part of the Office of Hanover in 1859 .
