Office Mirow

In the Mirow district (former Mecklenburg-Strelitz district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ), which had existed since 1992, the town of Mirow (official seat) and the two communities of Diemitz and Roggentin were united to handle their administrative tasks. On June 13, 2004, the formerly independent community of Diemitz was incorporated into Mirow. On July 1, 2004, the Mirow office was dissolved and the communities together with the municipalities of the Wesenberg office , which was also dissolved, were transferred to the new Mecklenburgische Kleinseenplatte office .

Amt Mirow was also the name of a ducal Mecklenburg administrative office in the (partial) duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz formed in 1701 . This had been formed from large parts of the order property of the Mirow Commandery . The seat of the office was also Mirow.
