The Amt Sinz-Nennig was an administrative district ( Amt ) in the district of Saarburg in the administrative district of Trier . According to the Prussian community encyclopedia of 1930, the district was divided into the following offices:

Freudenburg , Irsch-Beurig , Orscholz , Perl , Saarburg-Land , Sinz-Nennig, Tawern and Zerf .

In 1931 the administrative center was in Palzem and the mayor's name was Dr. Cooper. The official representation had 25 seats.

Of the 4563 inhabitants, 4499 were Catholic, 51 Protestant and 13 Israeli.

The total area was 5963 hectares (ha), of which 31 hectares were built on, 3975 hectares of arable land, and 1381 hectares of forest and meadows.

history

The merger of the mayor's office in Palzem and the mayor's office of Sinz to form the mayor's office of Sinz-Nennig took place in 1863.

From 1927 it is also known as the Palzem Office . From this, the Verbandsgemeinde Palzem arose in 1968, which became part of the Saarburg Association in 1970 .
