Plau-Land office in Parchim district

In Office Plau land in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the seven churches were since March 28, 1992 Barkow , Ganzlin , Gnevsdorf , Karow , Plauerhagen , Retzow and Wendisch Priborn in the district of Lübz and since 1994 in the district of Parchim joined forces to do their administrative business. The seat of the official administration was in the non-official city of Plau am See .

On June 13, 2004, the communities of Barkow and Plauerhagen merged to form the community of Barkhagen and the communities of Gnevsdorf and Retzow to form the community of Buchberg . On July 1, 2004, the Plau-Land office merged with the formerly free city of Plau am See to form the new Plau am See office .
