history

On September 7, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Wustermark Office. September 15, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the municipality of Wustermark and initially consisted of six municipalities in what was then the Nauen district:

  1. Wernitz
  2. Priority
  3. Buchow-Karpzow
  4. Elstal
  5. Hoppenrade
  6. Wustermark

In addition, the municipality of Dallgow was assigned to the Wustermark Office by a ministerial resolution. The assignment of the municipality of Dallgow was revoked on December 17, 1993. However, the freedom of office of the municipality of Dallgow was limited until December 17, 1996. This limitation of freedom of office was lifted on December 17, 1997. On September 27, 1997, the municipality of Wernitz was incorporated into the municipality of Wustermark. On December 31, 2002, the municipalities of Buchow-Karpzow, Elstal, Hoppenrade, Priort and Wustermark merged to form the new municipality of Wustermark. As a result of the merger, the Wustermark office was dissolved on December 31, 2002 and the municipality of Wustermark became vacant.
