Mykossen district
The Mykossen district was a Prussian district in the Johannisburg district ( Gumbinnen district , from 1905: Allenstein district ) in the province of East Prussia , which was founded on April 8, 1874. On November 15, 1938, the district was named "Arenswalde District".
The administrative district, based in Mykossen (1938–45 Ahrenswalde , today Mikosze ), originally consisted of eight villages, but in the end there were six due to structural changes.

On January 1, 1945, the district of Arenswalde consisted of the villages: Altwolfsdorf, Arenswalde, Gebürge, Gregersdorf, Herzogsdorf and Nickelsberg.
