Borna District Court

The District Court Borna is a court of general jurisdiction and a total of 25 district courts in Saxony .

Seat and District of the Court

The judicial district of the Borna District Court includes all communities in the Leipziger Land district ( Section 1, Paragraph 4, Annex No. 4 of the Saxon Justice Act). The main seat of the court is in Borna , Amgericht 2. The family department, the land registry as well as the estate department are located in Borna, Deutzener Straße 14. For June 2020 [obsolete] the move to a building on Leipziger Straße is planned has been renovated since 2017. There is room for the entire district court with all employees.

An external penal enforcement chamber of the Leipzig Regional Court has been set up at the Borna District Court .

Superior courts

The District Court of Leipzig is directly superior to the Borna District Court. The competent higher regional court has its seat in Dresden .
