The District Court of Grimma is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of a total of 25 district courts in the Free State of Saxony .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is Grimma . The court building is located at Klosterstrasse 9. The land registry as well as the family, estate, guardianship, enforcement and association register departments are located at Leipziger Strasse 91. The judicial district includes the area of ​​the former Muldental District ( Section 1 (4), Annex No. 12 of the Saxon Justice Act).

Superior courts

The Leipzig Regional Court is directly superordinate to the District Court of Grimma . The competent higher regional court has its seat in Dresden .
