The District Court of Döbeln is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of a total of 25 district courts in the Free State of Saxony . Its history goes back to the year 1852.

Seat and District of the Court

Until the administrative reform (August 1, 2008), the judicial district of the Döbeln district court comprised the area of ​​the then Döbeln district ( Section 1, Paragraph 4, Annex No. 7 of the Saxon Justice Act). Today it is one of three local courts in the Central Saxony district . The court has its seat at Döbeln , Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 16.

Superior courts

The Chemnitz Regional Court is directly superior to the Döbeln district court . The competent higher regional court has its seat in Dresden.
