District court Hainichen

The district court of Hainichen was a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of a total of 30 district courts in the Free State of Saxony .

Seat and District of the Court

The judicial district of the Hainichen District Court comprised the Mittweida district ( Section 1 (4), Annex No. 11 of the Saxon Justice Act). With its dissolution as part of the Saxon district reform of 2008, the court became a branch of the Döbeln district court . The court had its seat at Hainichener Friedelstrasse 4. The office building is still used for the branch.

The last director of the district court was Dieter Bäumel (* 1958) from September 2000.

Superior courts

The Chemnitz District Court was directly superior to the Hainichen District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Dresden .
