Freiberg District Court
The Freiberg District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of a total of 25 district courts in the Free State of Saxony .
Seat and District of the Court
The judicial district of the Freiberg District Court comprises the district of the former Freiberg district ( Section 1, Paragraph 4, Annex No. 10 of the Saxon Justice Act)
Joachim Herrmann was the director of the local court from 1993 to 2008. Jochen Sell has been director of the local court since December 1, 2008.
Superior courts
The Chemnitz Regional Court is directly superior to the Freiberg District Court. The competent higher regional court has its seat in Dresden .
