Ana Flavia Cavalcanti

Ana Flavia Cavalcanti (born 1982 in Diadema ) is a Brazilian actress , screenwriter , performance artist and film director .

life and work

She studied scenic art and graduated from INDAC ( Instituto de Arte e Ciência ) and CPT ( Centro de Preparação Teatral ).

In 2011 Cavalcanti worked in theaters in Paris. After returning to Brazil, she appeared in the telenovela Além do Tempo ( Time After Time) by Elizabeth Jhin . The film Body Electric , in which she played the role of Carla, was a Berlinale talent for Script Station 2015. ( Frogs ) is her first work as a director. She also wrote the script for the short film , which will be screened as one of 19 Brazilian films at the Berlinale 2020 in the Generation Kplus section . Julia Zakia was also involved in the direction and was responsible for assembly and production.
