Ana Free
Ana Free (born June 29, 1987 in Lisbon ; actually Ana Gomes Ferreira ) is a Portuguese singer who mainly gained fame through YouTube videos.
life and career
During her childhood, Ana Free attended the international school near Cascais . At the age of ten she started playing the guitar , writing and composing. She now lives in England and studies economics .
Ana Free had her first live TV appearance in the summer of 2007 on the Portuguese private broadcaster Televisão Independente , where she performed her own composition Crazy . Ana Free performs live regularly in London and Portugal . Recordings of these concerts will be posted on websites and blogs . After the success of the first singles, she is currently working on her debut album. Her piece In my place was based on the compilation Portuguese Now! 19 added. Her cover versions of the Nickelback song Saving Me and the Rolling Stones song Angie have each been viewed over 2 million times on YouTube.
