Anastassija Ivanovna Archipowa ( Russian Анастасия Ивановна Архипова ; born August 8, 1955 in Moscow ) is a Russian painter , designer and illustrator .

Life

She studied at the Surikow Art Institute in Moscow until 1978 before starting her professional career as a designer of posters. She became internationally known as an illustrator of works by classic authors such as Miguel de Cervantes , Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , Molière and William Shakespeare as well as the fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm .

Anastassija Archipowa lives and works in Moscow.
