Anatoly Petrovich Tarabrin ( Russian Анатолий Петрович Тарабрин ; born June 28, 1935 in Smolensk , † February 11, 2008 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Soviet rower .

biography

Anatoly Tarabrin began rowing in 1952 when he was enrolled at the Zhdanov University in Leningrad . At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome , he won the bronze medal in a four without a helmsman together with Igor Achremtschik , Yuri Batschurow and Valentin Morkowkin . A year later he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Prague in the same boat class with the Soviet boat . From 1960 to 1962 he was also the Soviet champion in the four without a helmsman and in 1963 in the four with a helmsman.
