Per Nils Anders Grönhagen (born May 22, 1953 in Kramfors ) is a former Swedish soccer player , soccer coach and current soccer official.
Career
As a player
The striker Grönhagen began playing football at Kramfors-Alliansen in his youth and received his first professional contract with this club in the fifth-class division 3 in 1969, when he was only 15 years old . From 1973 he played for GIF Sundsvall . After three seasons he moved to Djurgårdens IF , where he was under contract until 1983. For the 1984 season he moved again to GIF Sundsvall, where he let his career in Division 3 end.
Grönhagen played a total of 15 games for the Swedish national football team and scored four goals.
As a trainer
In 1986 Grönhagen took over the coaching post at GIF Sundsvall and led the club from Division 3 to Allsvenskan , before moving to IFK Sundsvall for three years in 1990 . From 1994 to 1996 he coached his former club Djurgårdens IF for the first time. From 1997 to 1998 he was chairman of the club's board of directors before he took over the coaching job at GIF Sundsvall again in 1999. For the 2002 season he moved to IF Elfsborg , where his contract was not renewed after two years, although he had led the club to the 2003 Cup . He then went to IF Brommapojkarna as a coach for a year in 2004 . In 2006 he coached Djurgårdens IF again. From 2007 to 2009 he was last active as a coach at Fredrikstad FK .
In 2013 he took over the post of sports director at Djurgårdens IF.
