Anders Lund (born February 14, 1985 in Hellerup ) is a former Danish cyclist .

Career

Anders Lund began his cycling career at the Danish Ordrup Cykle Club. In 2003 he became the Danish junior road racing champion. At the road world championships in Hamilton , he won the silver medal behind the Dutchman Kai Reus in the junior road race .

From 2004 Lund drove for the PH team . He won two stages at the Circuit des Ardennes and switched to the Danish Continental Team GLS after the season . In 2005 he was able to celebrate another stage win at the Circuit des Ardennes , finished second in the road race of the European Championships and in the U-23 edition of Liège – Bastogne – Liège .

In 2007 Lund signed a contract with Team CSC (later renamed Team Saxo Bank). After a detour to Leopard Trek 2011, he returned to Team Saxo Bank for the 2012 season.

Anders Lund competed in the big country tours six times . His best placement was 46th place in the Vuelta a España .

At the end of the 2013 season, Anders Lund ended his racing career.
