The Andersen Harbor is a small bay off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies in the middle of the Melchior Islands of the Palmer Archipelago and is formed by the concave west coast of the Eta Island and the northern end of the Omega Island . To the west it borders on the strait The Sound , to the east it is connected to Dallmann Bay by the Borrowman Canal .

Participants in the British Discovery Investigations mapped the bay in 1927. It is believed to have been named after Ole Andersen, captain of the factory ship Svend Foyn , which operated for Norwegian whaling campaigns in the waters off the Antarctic Peninsula. The bay was surveyed in 1942, 1943 and 1948 by participants in Argentine expeditions.
