André Aubréville
André Marie Alphonse Aubréville (born November 30, 1897 , † August 11, 1982 ) was a French botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is “ Aubrév. ".
He was the author of numerous works on the flora and vegetation of West Africa . From 1951 to 1952 he was president of the Société botanique de France .
In 1968 he became a member of the Académie des Sciences .
