André Béhotéguy (born October 19, 1900 in Bayonne , † July 14, 1960 in Nice ) was a French rugby union player. The inner three- quarters , only 1.66 meters tall and weighing around 69 kilograms , became nineteen-times French international. With the XV de France he won the silver medal at the Olympic rugby tournament in 1924 . He was also French runner-up in 1922 and 1923 with his club Aviron Bayonnais .

Béhotéguy played in the French championship for Bayonne and US Cognac . For the national team he came in 1923 against England for his first and in 1929 also against England for his 19th and last appearance. He was several times captain of the XV de France , so in 1927 France's first ever victory against England, as well as against Germany , in their first international match.

In addition to rugby, Béhotéguy was also successful in other sports. He became French rowing master and represented France in international athletics competitions .

His brother Henri Béhotéguy was also a French national rugby player. In 1928 they were used together in five test matches.
