André Lichtenberger 1930

André Lichtenberger (born November 29, 1870 in Strasbourg , † March 23, 1940 in Paris ) was a French novelist and sociologist . He was also a doctor of history.

André was the son of the architect Paul-Emile Lichtenberger (1840–1877), and the nephew of Frédéric Auguste Lichtenberger (1832–1899), who co-founded the theological faculty at the Sorbonne . His older brother Henri Lichtenberger became known as a Germanist .
