André Luisier

André Luisier (born June 20, 1924 in Sitten ; † February 19, 1998 ibid) was a Swiss publicist.

André Luisier grew up as the son of Albert and Marie-Eugénie Luisier in a Catholic family in Sion. He was married three times: with Marie-Jeanne Michelet, Madeleine Gaspoz and most recently with Françoise Délèze. His place of origin was Bagnes .

Luisier studied at the University of Geneva Law . From 1949 to 1994 he was editor-in-chief of the Nouvelliste valaisan (from 1968 Nouvelliste et Feuille d'Avis du Valais ). From 1982 to 1989 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Dispatch Agency . In 1984 he established the Center d'impression des Ronquoz in Sion. At the same time he founded the holding company Rhône Média SA . As a conservative, he was the only publicist to publish the election and voting recommendations for the Valais CVP in his newspaper. Between 1981 and 1992 he was president of FC Sion .
