André Münch

André Münch (born August 15, 1977 in Castrop-Rauxel ) is a German chef.

Career

After training in the Stromberg family's Goldschmieding restaurant in Castrop-Rauxel, Münch moved to the First Floor restaurant in the Hotel Palace in Berlin and to the Stolpe manor near Anklam . Then he went to Jean-Claude Bourgueil's restaurants Im Schiffchen and Aalschocker in Düsseldorf (two Michelin stars ). He then became head chef at Restaurant L'escalier in Cologne .

In 2007 he returned to Gutshaus Stolpe as head chef , which was awarded a Michelin star in 2008. In 2014 he moved to the Le Croy restaurant in Greifswald , and in 2015 to the Saphir in Wolfsburg .

Since August 2017 he has been head chef at Der Butt in Rostock-Warnemünde , which has also been awarded a Michelin star.
