André Nascimento
André Nascimento (born March 4, 1979 in São João de Meriti (RJ), Brazil ) is a former Brazilian volleyball player .
André Nascimento, who is 1.99 m tall and plays the position of outside attacker, began his professional career in 1999 at the Brazilian club Minas Tênis Clube, a major club from Belo Horizonte where he won three Brazilian championships until 2002. After a two-year stay at the traditional Greek club Panathinaikos Athens, where Nascimento was able to win another championship, he moved to Trentino Volley in Italy via Wizard Suzano São Paulo .
With the Brazilian national team, Nascimento won a total of eight titles. The most important awards are the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the 2002 World Cup.
