André Regaud (born February 14, 1868 in Lyon , † January 12, 1945 in Paris ) was a French sports shooter .

successes

André Regaud took part in three Olympic Games . In 1908 he made his Olympic debut in London , where he took tenth place in the individual and fourth place with the team with the free pistol . In the team competition with the small bore rifle, he secured the bronze medal in the prone position when he scored 710 points together with Paul Colas , Léon Lécuyer and Henri Bonnéfoy, finishing third behind Great Britain and Sweden. At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 , a fourth place with the small-bore team in the prone position was his best result. In 1920 he was in Antwerp with the team fifth with the military pistol and sixth with the free pistol.

Regaud won four silver and four bronze medals at world championships . In 1923 at Camp Perry , he secured his only medal with the rifle when he was second in the standing position with the army rifle. He won the other medals with the free pistol: in 1914 he was third in the individual in Viborg , with the team he won three silver and bronze medals between 1908 and 1921.
