André Sirocks

André Sirocks (born September 18, 1966 in East Berlin ) is a former German soccer player.

Athletic career

SG, club and association stations

The midfielder began his football career from 1973 to 1979 at SG Sportfreunde Johannisthal . In 1979 he moved to the youth department of 1. FC Union Berlin , where he played in the GDR league from 1985 . He played his first league game on September 6, 1985 against Sachsenring Zwickau (1: 1). On January 27, 1990, he played in the so-called union game for Union in the Berlin Olympic Stadium in front of 50,000 spectators against Hertha BSC and scored a goal.

From 1991 to 1993 he played for the then second division Hannover 96 . In 1992 he won the DFB Cup with the Hannover 96 team .

In 1993 he planned a return to 1. FC Union Berlin, but due to the license withdrawal of the iron for the 2. Bundesliga, he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers . With the Stuttgarter Kickers he played from 1993 to 1998 in the 2nd Bundesliga and in the Regionalliga Süd (1994 to 1996). In 1998 he ended his career.

André Sirocks played 131 games in the GDR Oberliga and scored 24 goals, 71 games in the 2nd Bundesliga with eight goals and 52 matches in the Regionalliga with four goals.

Selection bets

André Sirocks played representative for several selected teams of the DFV . These included the U-16 , U-18 and U-21 as well as the Olympic representation .

Professional career

Sirocks is now active as a financial and insurance advisor.
