André Stachowiak

André Stachowiak (born December 26, 1970 in Duisburg ) is a German football referee .

Life

Stachowiak is the laboratory manager for quality assurance. He lives in Duisburg, is married and has a daughter.

Stachowiak, a member of MTV Union Hamborn, was a DFB referee from 1999 to 2008 and has been in charge of games in the 2nd Bundesliga since 2001, where he refereed 47 games at the end of the 2006/07 season. In the 1st Bundesliga he was an assistant in Lutz Wagner's team .

Stachowiak had international appearances so far at the U-20 international match between Germany and France and as the fourth official at the A-internationals between Germany and Colombia on June 2, 2006, the last test match of the German team before the World Cup on June 4, 2006 in the test match between Turkey and Macedonia and on March 28, 2007 in the match between Germany and Denmark in his hometown Duisburg.

Stachowiak has been a referee observer since 2008. For the DFB, he observes referees in the regional league, junior division and women's division.
