Andrée Vaurabourg-Honegger (born September 8, 1894 in Toulouse , † July 18, 1980 in Paris ) was a French pianist and music teacher .

Vaurabourg studied at the Conservatoire de Paris , where she won first prize in counterpoint . Here she met her future husband, the composer Arthur Honegger . She married him in 1926, whereby Honegger made it a condition that both lived in separate apartments. She gave many world premieres of Honegger's compositions, including the Concertino for piano , which is dedicated to her .

Vauraboug-Honegger later taught counterpoint and fugue at the École Normale de Musique de Paris . Here Pierre Boulez was her student from 1945-46. Furthermore, u. a. Serge Garant , Roger Matton , Gilles Tremblay , Sylvio Lacharité , Jacques Albrespic , Duane Tatro and Albert Bolliger with her.
