Andre Schneider-Laub

Andre Schneider-Laub (born August 12, 1958 ) is a former German high jumper .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1978 in Prague he was seventh, and at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1979 in Vienna, he won bronze.

A sixth place at the 1981 European Indoor Championships in Grenoble was followed the following year by fourth at the 1982 European Championships in Athens. In 1987 he was sixth at the European Indoor Championships in Liévin and was eliminated from the qualification at the World Indoor Championships in Indianapolis .

In 1977 and 1978 he was German champion, in 1979 and 1986 runner-up. In 1979, 1981 and 1987 he was runner-up in the hall.

Andre Schneider-Laub started for TV 01 Wattenscheid .

In 1992 he received his doctorate from the University of Essen with the dissertation Influencing the posture of the spine through defined vertical force exertion in competitive sports .
