Andrea Bari (born March 5, 1980 in Senigallia ) is an Italian volleyball player .
Career
Bari began his career in 1992 in the offspring of Polisportiva Ostra and moved to Pallavolo Falconara a year later . In 1996 he moved up to the club's second division team. With the Italian youth selection, the Libero won the titles at the European and World Cup in 1997. With Falconara, he made it to the top division in 1998. Nevertheless, in 1999 he went back to the third division for Pet Company Trasimeno . In the 2000/01 season he played for league rivals Camst Bologna . He then came back to the A1 league to Borgocanala Taranto . After a season at Pet Company Perugia , he was hired by Telephonica Gioia del Colle in 2003 . In 2005 he finally moved to his current association, Itas Diatec Trentino . With Trentino he was Italian champion in 2008. A year later, he won the Champions League . In 2010, the club won the Italian Cup with Bari and defended the Champions League title . Bari made his debut in the senior national team , with whom he finished fourth at the World Cup in his own country. Trentino became Italian champions again in 2011 and achieved the third Champions League victory in a row. The Libero took part in the World League with Italy and reached the final of the European Championship . In 2012, Trentino won the national cup again. Bari won the bronze medal with the national team at the Olympic Games in London .
