Falconara Marittima is an Italian municipality with 25,912 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) on the Adriatic Sea in the province of Ancona in Marche .

geography

The districts (fractions) include Castelferretti, Falconara Alta, Fiumesino, Palombina Vecchia, Rocca Priora and Villanova.

The neighboring municipalities are Ancona , Camerata Picena , Chiaravalle and Montemarciano .

The municipality is located around 11 km from the capital of the province, the city of Ancona, and only a few meters from the Adriatic coast.
