Andrea Jublin (born November 19, 1970 in Turin ) is an Italian film director .

Life

Andrea Jublin studied political science. He then learned drama at the school in Genoa , where he also appeared as an actor. He then went to America, where he studied film at the University of California, Los Angeles . He then took a scriptwriting course at Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana in Rome.

Andrea Jublin directed the film drama Ginestra in 2002 . The short film The Representation followed in 2007 . At the Aspen Shortsfest 2007 the film received the jury's award for the best comedy film and won the Golden Horseman at the 2007 Dresden Film Festival . It was also nominated in 2008 for an Oscar in the Best Short Film category.

As an actor he was seen in The Loneliness of Prime Numbers in 2010.

In 2015 his film Banana was released .

Andrea Jublin teaches directing and screenwriting at the Scuola Holden in Turin.
