Andrea Reitmeyer

Andrea Reitmeyer (* 1979 in Wittmund , Lower Saxony ) is a German author and illustrator .

Life

Andrea Reitmeyer grew up in East Frisia . After finishing school, she studied communication design with a focus on illustration at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences .

Today she works as a freelance children's book author and illustrator. In her works, she also deals with environmental problems such as the death of insects and the problem of litter in the sea . Dirk Römmer translated some of her books into Low German .

Andrea Reitmeyer lives with her family in Mainz .
