Andrea Schauer
Andrea Schauer (* 1959 in Roßtal ) was the managing director of Playmobil and geobra Brandstätter .
Life
Andrea Schauer grew up in Markt Roßtal in Central Franconia . In 1979, she won a scholarship to study in the US state of Ohio . In 1985 she completed her studies in Heidelberg , where she studied economics, English and French . A year later, she joined the Nuremberg stationery manufacturer Staedtler as an advertising officer. In 1989 she moved to the medical manufacturer Aesculap and built up marketing at a subsidiary .
She has been with Playmobil and geobra Brandstätter since 1992. In 1997 she became the head of the marketing department . From 2000 she was managing director there. In 2015 she left management.
